Powered by a Cummins F3.8 Stage 5/Tier 4 Final diesel engine, the HX130A LCR complies with the international Stage 5 emissions control standard. New features like visibility and handle improvement, automatic engine shutdown, auto safety lock, enhanced cabin visibility, and eco gauge lifting mode can help improve productivity on hard to handle jobs.
All Hyundai excavators are known for fast cycle speeds, impressive hydraulic power and precision control. At Hyundai, reliable productivity is more than just a promise. The robust upper and lower frame structure can endure external shock and heavy workloads for many thousands of hours.
Hyundai construction equipment is precision designed with trusted and proven components and systems from leading OEM’s. The HX130A LCR is designed to be economically rugged and reliable for longer up time, reduced operating cost and improved productivity. Through a combination of innovative hydraulic system enhancements, Hyundai A-Series HX excavators achieve faster cycle speeds than previous models, which increases productivity.
Hyundai construction equipment is manufactured with the highest grade of steel due to Hyundai’s dominance in the steel and shipbuilding industries. Rigid cycle testing, heat testing, vibration testing and shock load testing is conducted in the design and manufacturing process of all new models insuring optimum durability and reliability.
Combined with the engineering and product design expertise of Hyundai, the Stage 5 Cummins Performance Series engines in the new A-Series machines will deliver substantial performance gains from a smaller, lighter power package. While Stage 5 guidelines do not apply in the USA, the Cummins Performance Series engines featured in A-Series also satisfy Tier 4 Final emissions control requirements. The Stage 5-compliant Cummins Performance Series engines integrate the newest after-treatment system – the Single Module™ – with leading combustion and air-handling technology to be Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR)-free for simpler, reduced installation costs.
Performance
Variable Power Control
The A-Series HX excavators introduce variable power control with three power modes to ensure the highest performance in any operating environment. P (power mode) maximizes speed and power for heavy work. S (standard mode) optimizes performance and fuel efficiency for general work. E (economy mode) improves control and efficiency for light work.
Performance
Attachment Flow Control
The A-Series HX excavators improves pump flow rate by giving the operator independent control of two pumps. It optimizes flow rate settings according to the attachment type (10 breaker types and 10 crusher types), which is ideal for various applications.
Performance
Fuel Efficiency
HX series excavators are designed with fuel-efficient tier 4 final engines, hydraulic advancements, and electronic improvements that improve overall fuel efficiency by as much as 10% compared to the previous series.
The 8-inch interactive touchscreen color display - with centralized switches - allows the operator to check and manage most features of machine operation, switches and diagnostics, all in one convenient location.
Convenience
Advanced Audio System
The audio system includes an AM/FM radio, a USB-based MP3 player, an integrated Bluetooth hands-free feature and a built-in microphone to allow for phone calls while at work and in transit. The audio system controls are located on the right side of the operator for convenient access.
Convenience
Innovative Haptic Control
Haptic control is a common technology found on luxury automobiles that makes selecting menus and adjusting settings easy. The haptic remote control uses vibrations and pulses to guide the operator through menu selections, enabling control of the accelerator, air conditioner, and all functions within the cluster for maximum convenience.
Convenience
Convenient Controls & Deluxe Operator's Seat
A-Series HX excavators feature deluxe operator's seats with air suspension, selectable heat and adjustable armrests. Seats are fully adjustable for maximum operator comfort. A convenient clustering of electronic controls and monitoring functions assist with improved operator accuracy and efficiency.
As an engine that produces less than 75 HP, the HX130A LCR does not require DEF fluid per EPA standards.
Serviceability
Cab Air Filter Access
Cab air filter is conveniently accessible from ground level by way of a lockable door on the cab.
Serviceability
Upper-structure Access
HX series excavators are equipped with large grab rails, guard rails and a proprietary anti-slip surface on the upper structure that make accessing key service areas easier and safer.
Serviceability
Stacked Cooler Design
A-Series HX excavators feature aluminum open-core coolers mounted in a stacked configuration to improve air flow, enhance cooling efficiency and improve serviceability.
The Hyundai-exclusive AAVM video camera system provides the operator a 360-degree field of view on the monitor, which greatly contributes to work site safety. Part of this system includes IMOD (Intelligent Moving Object Detection), which alerts the operator to the presence of people or objects within a 5 meter (16 ft) range of operation.
Safety
Grab rails & guard rails
Large upper grab rails coupled with left and right side guard rails facilitate access to the upper while reducing potential falls.
Safety
Anti-slip surface
Hyundai's proprietary, patented anti-slip surface uniquely designed to prevent accidental slips and falls that can result in injury when working or inspecting the upper structure of the machine. The rubber tread surface is less abrasive on knees when kneeling and performing inspections.
Safety
Auto-travel alarm
An auto-travel alarm will sound as soon as travel is engaged forward or reverse. This standard safety feature greatly increases job site safety by alerting workers around the machine. This alarm may be deselected by a convenient switch.
